Dana Warren, MSW, RSW

She/Her

Based in St. John’s, NL (Ktaqmkuk), Dana has been practicing as a therapist, coach, and counsellor for over a decade. Her passion for equity and access to robust mental health services has led her to create and influence therapeutic services that centre folks as experts. Whether in counselling, facilitation, supervision, or professional development, she has lived by the notion that collaboration and connection is essential to healing.

 

In her five years as the clinical team lead counsellor at The Women’s Centre, she has been instrumental in the creation of accessible, low barrier, trauma-informed individual and group counselling, innovative professional development, supervision models, training, and community skill building.

 

Dana’s critical eye and collaborative approach is embodied in her catalytic, empowering style which stirs people and supports her reputation as a motivating force with a passion for being useful. Dana is the 2022 winner of the James Fardy Award for an outstanding contribution to reducing stigma surrounding mental health and addictions.
