Stacey Hoffe, BSW, BEd, MEd, RSW

She/Her

Situated in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, NL, on the traditional and ancestral homelands of the Innu of Nitassinan, the Inuit of Nunatsiavut, and the Inuit of NunatuKavut, Stacey brings a wealth of expertise to her role as a counsellor, trainer, educator, and community leader.

 

In her decade of experience across government, health, and community agencies, Stacey has been deeply influenced by the individuals she has work with and supported, drawing inspiration and wisdom from their resilience and experiences which have shaping the approach she uses today. Currently, Stacey leads a team of fierce feminists in her role as the Executive Director of Mokami Status of Women Council and continues to be an advocate for gender-based needs and accessible therapeutic services.


With a strong background in trauma-informed practices and extensive experience in individual and group counselling, housing, supportive employment and program development, and oversight, Stacey excels in creating safe and inclusive spaces and work that is centered in care. Using compassion and humility, she is known for forging meaningful connection and facilitating transformative conversations that inspire individuals and organizations to recognize and unleash their full potential.
